Artificial intelligence acts as an amplifier: if you provide it with garbage, it returns a ton; if you give it gold, it offers a treasure.

Currently, asking a machine to perform tasks is becoming increasingly affordable, thanks to tools like No Code, Low Code, and the generation of code by large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT and Copilot.

However, it is crucial to understand that, despite the support of AI, preparation is essential.

The quality of AI responses is enhanced with greater knowledge and professional skills.

Similar to financial leverage, AI acts as a technological leverage that magnifies the developer's capacity, but it also amplifies mistakes if the knowledge base is weak.

It is vital to develop the ability to write clear and simple code, combined with pragmatism, awareness, and sensitivity to the team's goals.

Developers who understand that they program for people, not just machines, will have a constant demand in the coming years.

AI can replicate programming styles, increasing developer productivity, but human oversight remains essential.

The gap between good and mediocre developers is widening, and the ability to add or subtract in a team makes a difference in the job market.

That’s why I urge my students to work on and improve their fundamentals to secure better jobs, and it’s important to have a solid technical foundation to excel in job interviews, in addition to other skills like personal branding and selling yourself to find opportunities.
