These decisions are made to balance budgets and please investors, saving time and money for companies.

It would be beneficial for tech companies to implement a reservation system for laid-off employees.

And allow them to remain with a minimal payment for six months to facilitate re-hiring.

Unfortunately, this does not happen, which is why it’s good to be prepared.

This tells us that even in the best companies, job security is not guaranteed.
